Nature’s Perfection

Life stooped with years of learning,

Is no comparison to a glance at nature’s perfection.

Engrossed in the journey of life, mankind remains passionate about advancing it’s learning. We remain fascinated by our accomplishments and egoistic in showcasing them. Yet, a mere glance at the nature and we can see another order of beauty and intelligence in life. Nature may seem chaotic but in it lies a consortium of forces that amaze us. It compels us to think within.

At Yuanyang in China, the sunset was creating a plethora of orange shades.

My thoughts turned to a hymn by Nanak from Adi Granth (page 467)

He may read and study cartloads of books.

He may read and study entire multitude of books.

He may read and study books and put them in boats.

He may read and study books and fill pits with them.

He may read year upon year.

He may study for all the months that there are.

He may continue reading for his entire life.

He may study entire breath of his life.

Nanak says, only one thing is of account.

All else is but to prate and prattle in pride.

So what is that one thing of any account? My thoughts soon found a way to another verse by Nanak from Adi Granth (page 469).

I am sacrifice to Him, whose power abides in His creation.

His limits cannot be comprehended.

This verse in Gurmukhi language is given below.
