Lunch at Namgyal Lhatse, Tawang, India

These kids at Namgyal Lhatse (commonly known as Tawang Monastery) start their day very early. Which meant, when I was walking around at around 10:30 AM, it was time for their lunch break.

The bells rang and kids rushed out in the courtyard, heading to the dining area to fill their pots and then rushing to form small groups to enjoy their short break.

I stood silently in a corner, looking for opportunities to compose a few shots.

Sir this is really a magic you done…. the synchronization of light, camera and thoughts are well seen in this collection. The best part is the theme of lunch whis is mostly ignored by any photographer.

When I learn the basics from you? When can I get away from the business of life and indulge in this kind of feat for the senses?
Great job. Dunno why, I love this collection, kids I guess.. they change our perspective on everything.
These are wonderful snaps. I can’t comment from any other angle save that they have captured the very essence of life( for me) food and innocence.
