The Island of Hawaiʻi, also called the Big Island is a volcanic land mass in the south east chain of Hawaiian islands, in the North Pacific Ocean.
A visit to Hawai’i volcanoes national park was a one day trip. I took a short flight from the island of O’hau, where I was staying in the city of Honolulu, to Kalani (the Big Island of Hawaii). It was a rainy day and that limited my photography. However I did manage to make the most of what I could on a bad day, is getting the pictures of the solidified volcanic land mass of this island.
